I played the first campaign + bits of others in W:EE. (Consult your appropriate Jane’s reference volume to determine which tanks have auto-loaders.) Unless the unit is a tank with an auto-loader, in which case the reload speed stays the same. As units take damage, or as things around them explode, morale degrades, and accuracy and reload speed suffers. (So Hinds that blunder past enemy infantry squads will fare much better than NATO helicopters.) Armor 1 provides 90% protection against infantry small arms fire compared to armor 0. Armor 2 blocks 60% of HE damage armor 4 blocks 80%.

High Explosive (HE) weapons do full damage to infantry and vehicles with armor 0 and 1. Accuracy values listed in the armory are at maximum range. Decreasing range to target increases the accuracy of all weapons types. (+1 AP per 175m in ALB / RD.) HEAT damage is not dependent on range. The AP value of kinetic weapons (“KE”) increases as distance to target decreases. Red Dragon “turns it up to 11” the same formula is used as in ALB, but top-end tanks now have front armor values of 22 or 23. AirLand Battle doubles the above formula armor is rated on a 20 point scale, and units take 0.5 HP damage for each point AP beats AV by. When attacking armor with KE and HEAT weapons, units generally take 1 HP of damage for each point the weapons AP value beats the target’s armor value by.
